I ordered some tobacco soap a while ago and have not heard anything. I tried contacting the seller but nothing. Is this a common occurrence?

Yes. Lisa is notoriously slow at getting her product out the door. It took me three weeks to get mine, and she probably has been busy with Christmas and West Coast Shaving.

BTW, we are spoiled with all the great vendors on B&B. How long has it been? have you tried calling her?

Its been about 2 weeks. I do not see a phone number. I sent a message on the Etsy site but no response. Now I just looked at the feedback and its not too good. Probably wont be ordering from this person again.

West Coast Shaving sells it now. I would have ordered from PGS again with the understanding that it might take 30 days to get, but now I don't have to due to West Coast Shaving carrying the line (others carry it too). BTW, the tobacco soap is amazing. Most of the bad feedback is due to her delays in shipping, not the product.

I would definitely order from WCS. It took a month for me to get my tobacco soap and aftershave from the Etsy store.

I have to disagree on the soap being amazing. I found it underwhelming. It had absolutely no scent and was ROCK HARD like concrete. The lack of fragrance and hardness makes me hesitant to even use this soap again. I was not happy with it.

I don't doubt that. If you search the owner was on this board a few years ago and said that it was reformulated, the other stuff wasn't right, and if someone wanted a refund that they needed to return the product. Really bad customer service. He should have just sent new product out (which is what I posted in response to his post)

I have no idea why I still bought it (a few people did like it) but I did about 6 months ago and the stuff is amazing. I have faith that WCS will stand behind the product or check out the soap before it's sent.

best to stick with a B&B vendor, WCS is notoriously awesome. I've gotta all of my shipments from them very quickly, same with bullgoose

I'm afraid I had a similar experience with PGS on the etsy site. Communication + shipping were not good....I think that's all I should say about that.

But I agree with all the others about WCS service being top notch.

Good to know. I was thinking about ordering from Etsy because I can't find the Tobacco shave soap or AS anywhere. Thanks for the updates!
