    Talking Dad's Razors

    Howdy all,

So the other day my mom was going through a few drawers in the basement to get rid of some junk.

As we were cleaning I found a bag with my dads old safety razors and a old brush. He even had a bar of old olive based soap that he used to use.

When I asked him how old they were he said he brought them with him to Canada when he came in the 70's

I don't know what kind of razors they are but one has a date code at the bottom of T4 and the other is S1.

I can't post any pics since I'm at work but I do hav pics on my phone I can email them out to someone so they can post them if they wish.

Congrats, Basil, on getting your Dad's razors. That makes them extra special!!

Shoot some pics and post them . . . there's lots of folks here glad to help with identification and restoration tips. (Cell phone pictures don't always work well.)

Do you plan on using them? You could be sitting on some fantastic shaves!

Based on the date codes that you provided and giving us the 70's clue it could be one of these models.

Your dates are 72 and 73.

some available razors for those dates were:

    tech, a 3 piece
super adjustable, black handle and has a number dial
super speed, black handle with a silver colored knob
knack, dark handle with the knob near the head
