another neat folding razor

I received this the other day. It was made for 3 hole blades. Modern blades will fit, but must be lined up carefully before putting the head all the way on.

That is a clever design.

It looks like it would be good for travel assuming it takes modern blades and shaves well.

Modern blades are tricky to get loaded straight, but once in place the tension keeps them straight (the tension also holds the cap on)

How is the shave?

Haven't had the opportunity yet. I could shave tonight but it's a little early for that. I had one heckuva shave last night from a mix-n-match razor that I thought would be perfect - and it was.

That's going to depend on your definition of sturdy.
It's made of thicker metal than the Travalong, so is sturdier in that regard.
But when assembled, the head on this rocks back and forth easier than on the Travalong. Though neither one moves so easily that normal shaving pressure would have any effect.

Maybe for the razor itself. I have some doubts about the wisdom of using the comb.
