First Experience with MWF

After reading about soaps on the forum, I just purchased MWF and Tabac soaps.

So today I tried MWF soap for the first time. Since I am a newbie, I did add too much water. But I will correct that next time...too bad I have to wait until tomorrow (or I guess I could shave tonight!)

Anyway, I did like the scent, it lathered easily with silvertip badger, and definately did not dry out my skin!

I wonder when I will get around to trying the Tabac....

Good stuff! They are both great soaps and a couple of my favourites. You will probably find the Tabac a little easier to lather and it should perform as well as or perhaps even better than the MWF.

They are both GREAT shaving soaps.

I thought I could lather mwf just fine, that is until I saw this video by mantic59, it took my mwf to a whole new level:

Sounds as if you did a whole lot better than me with the MWF first time out.

That video is awesome! Thanks posting it for me. I am not much on face lathering, but I will now give it a try. He really did get some great lather. I will have to play with it!

I haven't been able to hit the sweet spot with MWF yet , but Tabac, I just look at it and it lathers by itself.
