Smile Badger & Blade Cologne Size Preference & Update

    Greetings Gents,

As we are getting closer to offering the B&B cologne, we need to know what size is of the most interest.

Once we have this info we'll list another post to get an approximation of the quantity needed.

Finally we will post the sizes available along with the price asking for a commitment so we can purchase the correct amount from Charles.

p.s. The next time you order from Charles, tell him how much you enjoy this cologne!

    The B&B Mods.
    Take care,

    Sorry Howard,

I don't believe they make an atomizer for a 1 gallon jug.

    Joe,

For a short time, a sample was available when the shave stick of the same scent was purchased. This is the only way any of us have it. Many of us have been very frugal in our usage, holding out until it became available for sale. Due to several reasons, it hasn't been made available, until now. Charles has graciously agreed to make us a batch.

Your best bet at getting an idea of what this smells like is to either buy the b&b shave stick (I'm not positive, but I believe Charles sells trial sized shave sticks now too), or, hope that the B&B Cologne gets purchased, and some kind fellow donates a couple vials towards the Fragrance Train. It's an intensely woody scent. To me, it evokes memories of hiking and camping in evergreen forests. If you like that kind of scent (which is very manly), it's a very pleasing aroma, but it's not for everyone. There are several people who do not care for it in the slightest. That's just the nature of the beast.

I personally can't wait to replenish my nearly depleted stock.

    Joe,
Believe it or not - I actually came up with the scent, and as a result it happens to be my favorite scent - bar none! (It is tailored to my ideal cologne)

    Here is my description...
". This stuff is tear jerkingly magical - very stout pure sandalwood oil smell, with a touch of chocolate, neroli, anise, "green" notes, fruit - a true symphany of smell.... this is something you can truly "hear" it is so incredible. The scent is so different, so robust, so classy, descriptions and words fail me. Simply walking down the corridor of my apt complex after putting this cologne on and relishing in its beauty - I was IMMEDIATLY stopped by a woman - who I pass daily wearing a different colonge each time, who stopped me DEAD in my tracks asking what I was wearing, and complimented the fragarance... she had never spoken to me in the past - even friendly "Hello's" sent her way have always resulted in a quick smile from her - then her turning away.

I've only had this stuff on for 20 minutes, and already, it has no equals. I cannot and will not explain further - this cologne my friends will "back it up" and speak for itself."

I think THIS POST speaks for B&B Cologne..... Howard traded me a $65 brand new bottle of Trumper Eucris for the 5ML SAMPLE.... and he actually PM'ed me - and mentioned he thought he got the better end of the deal. The B&B cologne is mighty spectacular....

Unfortunatly - only way to smell it - is to pick up a shave stick from Charles (which is a touch different than the cologne) or up and buy the cologne when it is available.

I have one of those strange skin types that mutates most fragrances I try into either nothingness or strangeness. B&B is one of a very few colognes that I can wear that maintains most of what I like about it. Drives my gf wild, too.

My little 5ml sample has lasted me almost as long as it can... I can't get 50ml or more too fast!

Shoot, maybe I should have voted for 100ml...

I have posted this several times.....

My wife goes freaking bananas when I wear the stuff. When I shave with the stick, she immediately "perks up."

Dont know what to say, but Joel and Charles have a winner. It should not have taken this long to get bigger bottles available.

I would say it is unlike anything I have smelled. Very woodsy and manly. By far, the best scent I have ever smelled.

I'd consider this stuff practically viagra for women. At least my wife would say so.

I'm guessing Mrs. Shermdog doesn't read the forum!

My vote would be for a 25ml or 50ml size. A 50ml would last me forever. This stuff is so potent, a little goes a long way. Any word on the type of bottle, labeling, etc?

It will come in a cobalt blue glass bottle with a quality atomizer. Size of the bottle will vary accordingly. The Label will be basic.

Just received my bottle of B&B cologne, great job Rik, thanks. Classy atomizer bottle. I just now tried the scent and I think I like it (gonna take a little settling to see).

    Thanks, Cliff

I wasn't here when the B&B cologne was produced and made available. Note the last post before yours in the thread was 5 years ago. As I understand it, this was a one-time special order for B&B, and the only way to get it now is from a B&B member who happens to still have some. I don't know if any of those even exist.

That's about the size of it.

My understanding is that unless & until it's made available again by B&B's (ever beneficent) ownership, this fragrance is unobtanium. Or, like Randy said, if you can purloin some from a member who already has it.

The 50ml size sounds best to me.
