Default FS/T: Straight razors: Puma Gold, 8/8 Heljestrand, Sta-Sharp, Theirs Issard frameback

SOLD 1. This is a Puma Gold that you can pick up for a deal. The razor shaves great, but just doesn't look pristine. The front scale has a melted end as you can see, there's an area of blue staining on the face of the blade, most of the gold is gone, and there are random bits of pitting/rust (like in the jimps and one spot on the back of the blade). I make it sounds terrible, but it actually isn't that bad and could be restored to great shape, I think. I just don't have the time or money.

The edge came to me shave ready and I touched it up on a Japanese Shoubudani hone. It shaves like you would expect from a Puma.
I think this is a great price (what I paid), cause these razors go in the 300+ range even for non-mint examples.

    SOLD!! 135 USD.

    2. This is the only blade that might be for trade. The rest are for sale.
I hate to sell this blade and you'll probably never see another for sale. There are only 3 or 4 of these that I know of out there. I traded a bunch of stuff to a friend to get this razor. Unfortunately, the size is a bit too big for me and I need the cash. The only things I'd be interested in for trade would be a mint or NOS Filarmonica Especial Para Barbas Duras in size 14 or 13. Especially the 13. If you think you have something really awesome to offer, offer it and we'll see.

This blade is in great shape, but has a few spots of either staining or shallow pitting that can be seen in the photos. My friend sold a less nice version of this razor on eBay for 350 USD or so (including shipping) and he sold one perfect one for 400 USD. The scales are original and the razor comes with the box. It has a perfect factory satin finish on the blade and a factory mirror on the spine and tang.

The blade measures around 8/8 (~26mm) wide. It's a full hollow round point. I couldn't get a good picture of the grind, but it's hollower than my photo seems to show (looks like a half hollow in the photo).

The razor is very very shave ready and shaves really well. You will not be disappointed by this one.

    385 USD.

    3. This Sta-Sharp came in some broken scales, so I put it in some nice ivory scales from a broken Torrey. The blade is 17mm wide, so that's between 5/8 and 11/16. I hand sanded the blade and then buffed it. The tang is pretty close to mirror and has very few scratches and the blade is nice and shiny, but has some scratches left from the buffing. The scales have a few minor marks in them near the pivot pins, but are otherwise in great shape. The blade has some minor stains left (very shallow pitting) and the etch is still a little visible. It says "Best Silver Steel".

I can shave with this razor, but feel like it could be even better, so I won't call it shave ready.

80 USD. Note that this is an already reduced price, because this razor was up for sale on another forum.

SOLD 4. I also hate to sell this razor because the shave is amazing, but I need money right now, so here it is...
It has a good bit of hone wear and has some scratches, etc. No rust or serious pitting, though. The scales are original but have bug bites, but work perfectly well...I think this is a great price for a razor that'll probably be one of your best shavers. Maybe it's the smiling curve, the steel, I dunno...The edge was pretty good last I tried it, but you might want to give it a touch up.

    SOLD!!! 65 USD.

Please note: These razors will all ship insured CONUS with tracking. If you want to have it shipped internationally, it will cost at least 20 dollars more to have it insured (I need to use express mail). If you don't want it insured, I cannot take responsibility if anything goes wrong with the package.

Please close this thread/sale. The other two razors are no longer for sale here. Thanks.
