    Default My First Three Restorations

Here (finally) are my first 3 attempts at brush restorations.

The first one from left to right, is 500 PB Made Rite. It is a light colored butterscotch. The knot is a 20mm TGN in finest with extra hair set at a loft of 54mm.

The middle brush is a German handle. The knot is a 22mm TGN finest with extra hair set at a loft of 55mm. My son has already claimed this brush. He says it looks like a Bengal Tiger.

The brush on the far right was my very first one. It is a 750 Ever Ready. The knot is a 22mm TGN silver tip set at a loft of 53mm. In this picture it has never been wet. It now has a nice bloom. This brush has really surprised me. I thought this was one I might give away, but I really like the way the handle fits in my hand. The tapering gives you a good grip when it is covered with soap. The knot really tears up a soap.

I already have 6 - 8 more in production. Gives me something to do this winter.

All three have been test driven. Right now, the one on the right is getting the love.

    Go for it !!!
Pick some uglies to start with so you can get your technique down.

    It's a lot of fun.
