    Thumbs up Alle ist Klar

    I bought a brick of Klar a while ago from Bullgoose but due to a lack of an appropriate container I never took it out of its original packaging.
    I tried some Klar today for the first time. I've got to say that I was blown away by the results! Right up there with the best , including the champ Tabac, and The Fat! Better cushion and glide than Cella, IMHO! If you haven't tried it don't deprive yourself of this world class shaving soap!

    My order arrived in usual record time following personal contact with Phil which is always a pleasure. "The Year of Harris" gets a headstart! Phil tosses in some nice things that you never ordered which is his Gentlemanly practice. I'm pleased as I always am having traded with Mr. Huntsinger. Bravo Phil!

    Nice haul Mike.

    I too find myself going more and more to DR Harris products. A little more money but truly a quality product.
    Cheers,

    Do report back with how the Harris shampoo works out. I can't say I've ever seen a paste-form shampoo before and it seems vaguely interesting in a gimmicky way to me. If it works well, perhaps I'll throw one into my next order.

    Items added this week include:

    * Portman Square Tallow Shaving Cream Soap (Notting Hill Scent)

    * Gift Certificates ($25, $50, and $100)

    A note about Portman Square. Portman Square is my new house brand and it is named after a street in London's famed "shaving district". Right now, I only offer the cream soap and only offer that in one scent -Notting Hill (a blend of lavender and cedar wood essential oils with a leathery earthiness). I have plans to offer Portman Square Tallow shaving soaps in the near future.

    Man, if I hadn't just stocked up on about 3 kilos of soap and cream, this would be next on my list.

    It looks like the Klar Sandalwood soap is in. I sure would like to read some impressions on the scent.

    Wow, that scent sounds great. I can't wait until you start selling it in a shaving soap!

    I am still toying with a few ideas. I will definitely offer the soap in the "Notting Hill" scent which is a lavender and cedarwood blend but am not sure of a 2nd scent yet. My plan though is to limit the scent options to at most three scents.

    Any plans on adding some new higher end brushes?
    Don't believe anything you read on the net. Except this. Well, including this, I suppose.
