Cigar Of The Day (COTD)

La Rica Corona, a chocolate taste throughout with a tight draw very nice.

Stopped by my local B&M today to get a KFC but they were sold out. They just got a shipment of the Camacho American Barrel Aged in today. I'm not really a fan of Camachos I've tried in the past but they sounded interesting so I bought a toro. I was pleasantly surprised by the smoke. I expected it to have kind of a gimmicky sweet bourbon flavor like the Maker's Mark tubos, but it did not. Instead it was a very smooth oak and woody flavor that really opened up after the first third with spice and nutty notes. I will definitely pick up more of these and see what a good cedar nap does to them.

A Diesel presidente, this cigar came in a sample bundle about 2 yrs ago and it seems like every third Diesel is a tough draw. I "cured" it by running a bamboo skewer up the center and about 2/3 of the way through I felt it puncture a wall. Still was a firm draw until it burned to that "wall", but after that it opened up nicely
