The last post here put me in the mood

Halfway through a Bolivar petit corona from '11. Always a solid smoke.

Late last night a mate and I sat back with a Rocky Patel The Edge Corojo Toro before dinner, or more accurately; started before dinner then ate dinner whilst still smoking and had after dinner tea before they were thoroughly nubbed.

A truly great smoke. I had a couple of these resting in the humidor and couldn't wait to try one. All I can say is, Wow!

It's been a real tough week. Working 12-14 hr days ( no monetary compensation) getting home after the gym closes and dealing with JHS students. And yet I find refuge...





It was a nice relaxing Friday night. Back to work tomorrow though

It's starting to cool down here, my cigar season may be ending soon

Evenings are cooling off here to. Still nice enough to comfortably sit outside with a cigar though.

Gurkha, Shaggy Foot Lancero

Had a nice 6x60 wicked indie watching the game.

On the way to the beach we stopped at JR in Statesville, NC, where I picked up a box of Omar Ortez Originals (toro, natural) and Sancho Panza Extra Fuerte (Rothschilde). The Omar Ortezes have changed since the last time I had them, now dressed in cellophane and sporting a pretty band at the foot. They still taste great, although this one burned unevenly. Still, it was a great way to end a fantastic seafood meal.

Tonight's is in memory of my brother in blue who gave the ultimate sacrifice today.

And a fitting tribute. My son is a Deputy Sheriff and I can't even imagine what CPL Harwood's family is going through. My prayers are with them. Rest in Peace, Jason.
