Nice question. To be honest, I don't know but it sounds about right, maybe it is more frequent to see drizzle rather than rain on the mountains, again, I may be wrong. In any case Senshi is right, Madrid is not London. BTW, I am living in Equatorial Guinea right now and the moisture is unbelievable, it makes smoking much more difficult.
