Default Being cocky, not respecting the power of the DE.

    Gents,

Anyone ever have the experience of:

"I've been doing this long enough, I won’t even pay attention because I am a master of all things Wet Shave."

Boy today I am sure paying for it, was in a hurry last night, I didn’t respect the Feather. This is the first time since starting to Wet Shave I have been in pain!! :) I think I must have removed 2 layers of skin on my face, not so much razor burn, more like carpet burn or a friction burn, not very fun.

    Lesson learned.

    Regards,
    Brandon

Eh somewhat. For me it usually result is little dots of blood I can't stop all over my neck and jaw line. I never have really had the overshaving razor burn that lasts for more than a little while.

    Yeah buddy,

Just this morning I loaded up my EJ Super with some Floris Elite Creme, Futur with a 2 day Derby and really took my time. Performed the regular 4 pass and everthing seemed fine- no weepers, no obvious trouble spots. But when the alum bar slide across my mug I knew something dreadfully wrong. I tried to remedy the burn with some Nivea ASB but to no avail. I wonder how long the "just been slapped" look with be with me.

I feel with you. I was cocky with the slant last night. It felt like I ripped out the hairs on my jawline. Thanks to some great post-shave healing products I'm back on track tomorrow... The beauty about this is that success and failure depends on very small margins.

Every time I shave in the shower I get the same reward. I just rush it too much.

Repeat after me...love on the badger...respect to the blade.
