PIF: Guess the Blade count and Win! Let’s have some fun.

This is my first PIF / contest. I find this place interesting and have learned a lot so far. So I wanted to give some back to 3 lucky members.

Here is what you can win a sample of 100 blades shipped anywhere in the world. The sample will include Super-Max Platinum, Lord (both real and a few counterfeit ones, do not worry I will make counterfeits as such), Wilkinson, Navarro and whatever other brands I throw in the package.

I have three questions below and the winner of each of the 3 questions will get a sample pack of blades. To win your answer has to be the closest to the actual number over or under. This contest will have 3 winners. If someone guesses the exact number for any of the questions I will include 25 bonus blades. As an added bonus if 1 person is the closest on all 3 of the questions they will get 300 blades and I will throw in a Merkur Futur razor that is in the photo (after I clean it and try it).

Question #1: How many blades are in this lot? I am looking for the total individual blade count.

Question #2: How much does this lot weigh? I am looking for pounds and ounces. Please not metric I forgot how to convert.

Question #3: How much did I spend on this lot? I am looking for US Dollars.

Now let me tell you what and how I got these. I went to the state surplus auction the other day and I found this box of razor blades and 1 razor in it. These items are airport confiscated items. I still cannot believe in this day and age that people still try to travel with a pack of blades let alone a pack of 100 or 200 blades. I did see the razor before I placed my bid on the box. I always wanted to try another type of Merkur razor. I was surprised that the Futur was in the box they usually just take the blades not the razors.

When I got home and started looking at what I had bought I thought that I should have some fun and make it a contest. I sorted them, weighed them, counted them and locked the answers to the 3 questions in a safe place until the end of the contest.

I have 2 photos the 1 is of the box they came in. To help you out the boxed measures 17 ½” by 11 ½” and it is filled up to 5 ½”. Photo 2 is them dumped on my floor before I sorted them and yes the razor is in the center.

This contest will run until the end of day on 12/16. I will contact the winner or winners on 12/17 and ship them out asap. That way you should get it just before Christmas.
