Default My Best DE Shave So Far

I completely forgot to post this yesterday, but that was the day I had my best DE shave so far.

    - Gillette Super Adjustable C2 Set On 7
    - Wilkinson Sword DE Razor Blades (Wal-Fart 10-pack)
    - Liquid Bump Stopper
    - Proraso Cream
    - Nivea ASB

So I take my usual shower. I did use Pert on both my hair and my beard. It has conditioner in it so that may have helped. I finished up in the shower, got out, and dried off.

I applied some Liquid Bump Stopper to my throat and let it dry for about a minute as I did other bathroom things. I then wet my cheap Burma Shave brush with warm water and gave it a couple of flicks to get SOME of the water out. I also wet my face with warm water. I then put a glob of Proraso onto the brush's bristles. I use a slightly larger than almond-sized amount. I proceeded to face lather for about a minute or so.

Now I used my razor with new blade. I could tell immediately something felt different. I am not sure what it was. It was like the razor felt VERY SHARP and I could hear it laying waste to my whiskers. It was very satisfying both audibly and physically.

So I do my WTG pass, relather, do my XTG pass, relather, and do my ATG pass. I did very little touch-up passes but I did relather the spots I did touch-ups on.

I got a TRUE BBS shave. I had a couple of light weepers which stopped bleeding on their own. I didn't need to use a styptic pencil. I rinsed the remaining lather off with warm water and then carefully dried my face.

I then applied some more Liquid Bumb Stopper to my throat and let it dry for about a minute and then applied Nivea ASB.

Even today I have no need to shave. Not BBS today, but there are no visible whiskers.

I've never tried Bump Stopper. Does it work?

For me it does. I put a couple of drops on the tips of my middle and ring fingers and scrub my throat with it and let it dry for about a minute before and after I shave.
