Default What should I do with the Le Canadien?

I bought a very nice Thiers Issard Le Canadien off BST this morning.

It does have a small ding in the toe that is really only costmetic but I'm interested in what your thoughts are on what I should do with it.

Congrats! I saw this posted earlier for sale today. I think the head-on picture shows the tip bend a little better and might give folks a better idea on what to do. (ps. I voted French tip)

I voted French point... but for selfish reasons... I want to see how it turns out.

Well it looks like the French Point option is a clear winner so a French Point it will be. That was my preference as well.
I'll do some more practise with the Dremel in the mean time on some old blades.

You have bigger problems than a damaged blade, my friend. It would appear from the photos that your house is sideways.

I wouldn't try to do that myself if I were you. Even if you practice it, it will take a while to get this type of thing perfect. Send it to one of the many who are very experienced with this.

I voted to leave it. The potential for things to go wrong is too large.

I've no idea who Art is but someone has decided to play around with my poll.

It would be easier to Spanish it than French it, but either way, looks like a beauty!
