Default grouse79's Entry into the B&B Hall of Fame

Please allow me to introduce myself:

    Username:
    grouse79

    What is your real name?
    Martin

    What are your nicknames/aliases?
    None.

    Where do you live?
    Fife, East Scotland

What is your age (or) generation?
    31

What are you in the real world?
    Government Statistician

What is your favorite shave setup?
English Tech, Feather blades, Mitchell's Wool Fat Soap with Vulfix boar brush, Mr Taylor cream with Tweezerman badger brush, Old Spice aftershave

What are your hobbies and favorite activities?
Pipe organ music, currently play for a local church and take lessons. Some day I might even be good at it! I'm also a big fan of malt whisky (Highland Park, Isle of Jura and Laphroaig are my favourites) and real ale.

What else should the members of B&B know about you?
Like many members here I'm eternally grateful to the shaving gods for leading me to the path of true shaving enlightenment. I wish I could persuade more people to take up traditional shaving, without coming across as proselytising, because it has turned something that was a daily pest and chore into a daily pleasure.
    Razors: English Gillette Tech
    Blades: Derbys
    Cream: TOBS Shaving Shop, Proraso
    Soap: TOBS Sandalwood, Wilkinson Sword
    Brush: Tweezerman
    AS - "Noir", Old Spice

"Bruce Willis's ability to maintain a wry smile whilst being blown backwards through a plate glass window is an inspiration to men whose daily challenge consists of nothing more than sitting in front of a computer screen contemplating the message: "There has been an error. Do you wish to report it?". "

    Default Welcome to B&B

A hearty welcome. I share your love of organ music -- especially Bach. Only listen, collect recordings here. Do not play. You are a Scot by birth while I am one by heritage. Enjoy your wet shaving journey. Lots of valuable info on the board.
