I found my first brush yesterday at my mothers house! A 1982 Simpson's Case Best badger, bought from Santa Maria Novella on Piccadilly Arcade. It was all I could afford. I also found an old tube of TOBS sandalwood. I can't recall how old it is, but it is probably more than 15 years. It still smells quite nice. I have been thinking about this old brush for a few years and finally found it.

Don't shave every day, but today I did.

And it was with a Kent Wet-is-Best 'Blended Bristle' (Is it Boar and Badger mix(?)) and I find it ok (well... for now anyway)... with Proraso Pre-Post Cream(Fantastic) and an Erasmic Stick... (actually it was my first try of Erasmic).

Wow, never seen that before.

First time using it. It's a 1960's vintage "art deco" style. Looked unused when I got it, but covered with 40 years of nicotine film. Took me a while to work up the nerve to try it. After 50 years on a shelf, it lost exactly one hair and worked wonderfully.
