No reason at all to be shy about using those products - they are definitely good. As for myself, I got the VdH badger brush and VdH Luxury soap a couple days ago, and after spending a bit of time getting the wet badger aroma out of the brush, got a great shave today using them. I will certainly and gladly add them to my rotation. Used a 1904 Classic razor and Astra blade today.
