    Default Wolverine 1,000 mile boots

Anyone own a pair of these? I saw some yesterday in a store and really liked the look, but really wondered about the price. Just wanted to know if anyone has tried these boots.

I've admired them but can't swallow the $$ for a pair!

I haven't seen them, but if they're all used up at 1,000 miles, then I guess I'll look elsewhere. A thousand miles is around 18 months on my work boots.

I finally got to see the pictures --

OMG! Before I saw the pictures, I was envisioning either work boots, or western boots -- and these look more like something you could wear at the NY Stock Exchange! Guess I had the wrong idea!

    And $725?

thh cordovan shell limited model is 795, but the regular ones are "only" 325 all over the internet...

even at 325, that would be a very high end shoe purchase, however, the boot is so cool looking for khakis and jeans, i would probably wear them all the time.

they are made in conjunction with allen edmunds too.

there are a couple of interesting videos on how these are made...I am a sucker on watching stuff like that...

the only thing that i question is the leather sole. i would be tempted to go to my cobbler and allow him to apply the this rubber sole, so it would wear better and be non slip. or maybe a tread type sole, like the red wings country gentleman...
