Just tried it. Not a big fan. Left a heavy, sticky (dare I say- waxy) residue. Takes away any temptation to try Burt's shave cream. Anyone else?

Good thing they quit making it.
I really like the stuff but that's me
Both the shave cream and aftershave are still sold where I am.
Shave cream - IMHO stay away from it. No cushion, glide or protection. If you really want to try a good brushless cream that doesn't lather try any of the ones made by Alba.
Aftershave - I had a similar experience; it felt 'heavy' to me but I didn't get stickiness. May have some moisturizing ability but it has no soothing/healing properties (which you really need after trying the shave cream).
Must be the Burt's Bee's Bay Rum I'm thinking of, my bad.![]()
They have the best lip balm around, but they should stay away from shaving products.
I used to wear Burt Bees Bay Rum aftershave.. it was good stuff. I think they quit making it.
Burts Bees Bay Rum Cologne, if you can find it, is one of the most potent bay rum cologne's I have ever come across. 1 spray to the chest will introduce you to the room 5 minutes before you arrive - no joke! I love it but I spray it on at least 2 hours before I leave the house.
Garry's Sample Shop - Shaving Samples Galore!
AFAIK Burt's quit making all of it's Bay Rum products a few years ago. I tried to find some, but all I ever managed to get was some of the shave soap.
That was a mixed blessing/curse. IMHO the scent was the best bay rum around, but it was terrible shave soap.
