    Default DIY lightbox material

I'm thinking of making a light box for myself. the one I made out of cardboard isn't(wasn't very durable).
I'm looking for recommendations on the material to use for the side, I was thinking of either cotton, or white nylon wrapped around a wooden frame.
Has anyone made a light box and if so what material did you use?

Plans and photos would be great too!!!

I did something similar to the one at this site:

I had 3 light sources. One up top, and 1 each on either side.

    Thanks for the links guys.
I made one already out of cardboard following the exact plan Mark linked to, only problem was it didn't handle my rough handling very well.

A white cotton sheet works fine, we used to do it all the time when I was a student. If you want something more permanent go to a shop that sells acrylic. They will sell you the proper 3mm white stuff and cut it to size.

Use an inexpensive pop up laundry basket as the frame for the white sheet. It will be near indestructable. With a little looking you can find one made from solid white nylon instead of mesh and not need to modify anything. White mesh works well too as it can have things fastened to it easily.

I went to wally world and got some white poster board material for a couple bucks. It is cardboard lined foam, works real nice. Use masking tape to hold em together so I can fold everything up and store it flat somewhere. I use white trash bags for diffusers. Two shop lamps from Home Depot with the big clamps on em to clamp em to a shelf overhead. Got the proper heat flouro bulbs from Depot too for cheap. I need to experiment with side light cause while I can get good pics with overhead light, sometimes it is hard to show a mirror finish without a glare.
