Damascus Steel Frame Back?

Well I picked up this frame back in the wild today. It has a couple of chips at the edge that will need to be honed out but I think it could turn out nice. I need some help with the ID. Also, this looks like Damascus steel but I have not seen a frame back like this before. I would appreciate any information you could provide.

I can't tell you a whole lot about the history of that razor but it sure is beautiful, I'm a huge frameback fan.

As far as damascus I don't believe so since I've seen many framebacks like that is usually just markings. But you never know

If it is like the one below, it isn't a true Damascus. The pattern has been applied to the blade. Nonetheless, a very cool razor.
