Just got the sides and back of my head shaved with my Solingen strait!!
The barber loved it and enjoyed the feel, weight and balance over the feathers! I showed how to hone the blade and strope technique as well as told him about the site!

I think he is hooked!

He said that the feel, balance and weight of the strait was nice!

That's awesome that he was willing to do it. He probably had fun doing something outside of his normal routine.

He was excited and nervous.
I was happy to be able to show him the techniques to hone and strope so hopefully sometime in the next couple of months Atlanta GA should be getting a new Barber who does the best darn haircuts and is great with a strait (he didn't cut me at all, the shave was even and smooth!).

He is moving sometime shortly from here to Atlanta GA.

Go figure...A customer teaching the ins-and-outs of straight shaving to his barber and getting him hooked . Way to go
