Leather jacket care

I have a U.S Wings Goatskin leather jacket.

What is the proper care for a leather jacket? I noticed some patches seem dry, I have mink oil but I don't want to darken the leather much.

Leave it alone.

I have an old leather bomber that's been used and abused and soaked in rain. After a particularly bad season I'll use Bick 4 leather conditioner to clean it up and moisturize it. It seems to work okay and doesn't darken it too much.

Lexol leather cleaner and conditioner for mine. Bick works well too.
