I imagine we'd need to know what you're looking for.
Do you prefer soaps, creams, or both?
Do you face or bowl lather?
Is your preference more of a stiffer or floppier brush?
Does size matter? (hoo-wah!)![]()

Custom Shavemac. You can build a unique brush that meets your exact requirements.
Have a great shave!
dont know if this helps but. i use both creams and soaps, i both face and bowl lather. size isnt really an issue. and i dont really like floppy brushes but i dont want a really dense one that doesnt flatten a bit when used

EJ silvertips are not good as supers at soaps but both of them are very good at creams. I prefer not so many dense brushes also.(for example Simpsons Colonel X2L and Mühle Silvertip Medium)
This is a great question! So many choices out there! Good luck!
Here's what I am getting myself for Christmas...I think I may have a problem. Is there a twelve step group for SBAD???
Plisson #10 HMW
Shavemac 301 in D01

There is nothing like a Jinhou.
if any one has some good pictures of the two next to each other, that would be great

I think that you will probably be happy with either brush. It seems like you are leaning towards the EJ. I say stop thinking and go for it!
so far based on my own research i am probably going to buy a truefitt and hill style 1 brush in size two. same as a rooney 1/2 but has more hair stuffed in it. in the striped ivory color
Aut Pax Aut Bellum
That would be my choice of the two. I have an ivory Rooney 1/2 and I love it. I did not realize the T&H brush was any different than the Rooney. I am told there is a B&B discount with T&H. The T&H soap is also very good. Vintage Blades sells T&H soap branded as Vintage Blades soap.
