I imagine we'd need to know what you're looking for.
Do you prefer soaps, creams, or both?
Do you face or bowl lather?
Is your preference more of a stiffer or floppier brush?
    Does size matter? (hoo-wah!)

    Of these two?

I think I'd prefer the Truefitt and Hill, as it doesn't seem as flexible and floppy as the (also highly praised) Edwin Jagger.

For 120 dollar, you do have a lot of options, though!

Custom Shavemac. You can build a unique brush that meets your exact requirements.

I would prefer Edwin Jagger Large Super Badger brushes than a medium silvertip. And also I always stop myself to buy T&H brushes.

dont know if this helps but. i use both creams and soaps, i both face and bowl lather. size isnt really an issue. and i dont really like floppy brushes but i dont want a really dense one that doesnt flatten a bit when used

EJ silvertips are not good as supers at soaps but both of them are very good at creams. I prefer not so many dense brushes also.(for example Simpsons Colonel X2L and Mühle Silvertip Medium)

I think that you will probably be happy with either brush. It seems like you are leaning towards the EJ. I say stop thinking and go for it!

Yes, there is a 12-step program for SBAD ... you're on Step 5 now. Buy 7 more brushes to complete your treatment plan.

That would be my choice of the two. I have an ivory Rooney 1/2 and I love it. I did not realize the T&H brush was any different than the Rooney. I am told there is a B&B discount with T&H. The T&H soap is also very good. Vintage Blades sells T&H soap branded as Vintage Blades soap.
