How about some brush porn!!!
My new '1 of Emillion' came in today from Lee. This is one of some of his one-offs that he had and I fell in love with! It has a 25 m/m knot, 55 m/m loft, and a handle height of 60 m/m. Substantial hand feel and really looks nice! Can't wait to try it out. Just another superb brush from the master!

EDITED for Clarity - I recently contacted Lee, and he said that he can "buy" some handles from Rooney, so if you want a Rooney Handle, just let him know and he will get pricing and post a pic before he sets the knot. I'm really thinking about getting a Faux bone handle ala style 2 size 2 with a Heritage style knot and loft. I have a Heritage now and want to see how the Blondie stacks against it...I'll tell you tho, my Simpson's 57 is getting used less and less since I got my M&F brushes, like once in two weeks...I just like the way the Blondie feel better!
As for making the Heritage style brush knot he said the only thing is that the canons he uses to make the knots are bulb shape...he said he could make one more fan shape, but relies on the canons for length and spacing so it could be hit or miss! I trust him though...my chubby custome he made for me is poefrect in every way, and I did not have to pick out any epoxy from the base of the knot!
BTW, Lee is not the Owner of Rooney's as someone keeps saying, he WAS the Managing Director (MD), whatever that means. I think they have some of the best brushes out there and I can't wait to save some green, after my kid gets his braces, so I can stock another creation from M&F.
***I edited the post because some of the info I posted was second hand and I recently found out it was a stretch on the truth, so I deleted and changed part of this post. Sorry, Lee, for the misrepresentations.***
Excelsior!
It's hard to go back to Simpson Best or Super after the soft-tipped bliss of M&F.
hmm..vlad, does this means you joined the M&F club?
