Post Week of November 8 SOTD - Monday

    Pre-Shave: Hot shower
Razor: 5/8" J.A. Henckels #50, Hollow, Spike Point
    Brush: 24mm Thäter Silvertip Badger
Überlather: CarrieM Blood Orange Shave Creme + Mama Bear's Myrrh Shave Soap + Glycerin
Astringent: Thayer's Witch hazel (Lavender, no alcohol)
    Moisturizer: Trumper's Fragrance-Free Moisturizer
    AS Splash: Floïd Italian Amber
Result: Today was the Henckels turn to shine...And shine she did. Despite her small size (well...at least for me), she packs quite a punch; equipped with one of the meanest and wickedly sharp edges in my collection (which I can proudly claim credits for ), she effortlessly mowed the 1-day old stubble. CarrieM's Blood Orange was the perfect prelude to today's shave. The Trumper moisturizer/Floïd mix was a super finish to a super smooth shave. As Max puts it: "Big smile on my face".

I went with the OH S*&^% my alarm didn't go off and as a noob I am a little proud of myself.

I had 18 minutes to get up, get washed, combed, shaved, dressed, and out the door.

I managed to throw in a new blade (still using up the Sharks, but can't say I like them), lathered up the Dr. Harris (not the best, but at least I can LUP or Lather Under Pressure), and shaved two quick passes for a DFS...not a BBS, but no cuts or weepers.

Splashed some Clubman on as I was heading for the T-shirt drawer and still made it to work on time.

Oh...and I wiped my sink down as required by household 6.

    Nice one, Mark

Sorry if my question sounds awkward, but is the plastic bottle from Trumper's hard plastic or on the soft side?

Thanks Cap'n!! Yeah it's stiff plastic. It would hold up well to travel.
