    Default back to basics

    I have not been happy with my shaves lately. Naturally my first reaction was to blame my equipment, doesn't everyone? This morning I decided to go back to basics, don't use pressure! I have a good heavy 38c and put no pressure on it at all. I did a N-S, E-W, W-E and then SN. The result, BBS, the best and most comfortable shave I've had in a month.
    The moral of the story, it is easy to get into bad habits, don't forget the fundamentals of the craft of a good shave!

    Good advice. Often we start to go back to the bad habits we had with cart shaving.

    That's the way to go. Re-visiting the tutorials is sometimes required, getting back to basics!
