Default Plastic Bottom Super Adj dating

I picked up a super adjustable antiquing the other day. It is in great shape has the black plastic bottom so 78-86 . I posted a few months back about where the date code is. I got some responses saying inside the blade tray. I could swear there is nothing there aside from maybe a few scratches I can't see a letter or a number. Is it possible it is missing the date code, is it somewhere else....? I can snap a few pics a little later if it will help. Thanks in advance.

I have a Y-1 and Y-2 and they are found inside the blade tray. Do you have the "pat. nos. on pkg" printed on the center of the tray? If you have those positioned to read, the letter and number should be just underneath.

    And yes, pics will help

I really can't tell, if that is the letter it could b a Y or an A or just scratches In all the other pictures I have seen, you don't have to look "that" hard. Were there many that lightly stamped. There isn't a Quarter there. I thought this too but just wanted to see what others thought.

I had a 1979 Z-4 (gave it to a friend yesterday-it was his birth year and quarter) that was stamped on the inside.
It is possible that it had been taken apart and put back together incorrectly?

Pic of the bottom. I don't think it could have been taken apart and put back together, The safety bar would be inverted.

You should send it to me.

It doesn't look like it was stamped. Makes me think it was one of the later ones made.

I have a G-2 date code on my razor and from what I understand 1986 was the last year these were produced.

If you look in the original pic just below your circle there is a A and right across form that there is a number, cant make it out though.
