Dusty; what is the last one. I like the looks of that one.
Rick
Yeah danjared has it right, it's a folding kamisori (asymmetrical grind).
Thanks Jared
Rick
I actually ended up trading it. They are very nice razors and am glad to be keeping two of them! That one I traded has very different scales than the rest of the #666's I've seen. When you hold it up in the light they are transparent.
I got this straight for cheap. It's a 6/8 full hollow - 2800 - Diana for Gentlemen. There are no markings for the country but this is another one that I'm sure it was made in Japan. The Etching on the blade says 'Best Tungsten Steel Razor'. I honed it yesterday, tightened the pivot and I just need to try it but I can tell already that I have a keeper!

Very nice. What is the grind on the Cape?
Scott
Scott,You need a cape, amazed you do not have one:)
These are some nice razors and thanks for sharing them. The problem now is that I need some Japanese razors for my rotation.
Come down a take one home for a week. I think you would enjoy it.
Rick
These two are not mine, I'm simply honing them up.
I love the "blacked out" steel on the Shoen Burg, and the craftsmanship on the Tanifuji is excellent!
One, two! One, two! and through and through...The vorpal blade went snicker-snack!
