AoS is about as good as they come these days, but I was recently gifted some C&S #88 by our site's ambassador. Holy moly!

PC Tallow soap, unscented with added Menthol.

Harris Sandlewood - followed by Harris Almond, then Arlington.
 
Prairie Creations (tallow, no lanolin) is my go-to soap. I always know what kind of lather I'm getting with that one, and I get great shaves.

That said, I also love my Palmolive stick and AOS Lemon, and both of them lather up a little easier than PC IMHO.

Still, I reach for that puck of PC at least 3 times a week...

Tabac for me. Admttedly, though, it's the only tallow based soap I've used. Really can't see myself trying anything else (besides Cella maybe) given the price:performance ratio.
