Howdy!
Well, after years - like about 45 - of shaving with electric razors, disposables, and Gillette track somethings that look like running shoes, I've finally started DE shaving. Went up on Amazon and bought a Merkur Classic with the long handle, and a Parker TTO barber pole. Been sampling different blades and soaps/creams and generally having a great time! This evening I got the best shave of my life, with the Merkur, Proraso cream, and Derby blades. Absolutely amazing.
Anyhoo, I'm finally doing what my Dad suggested about 45 years ago, and as usual, he was right. He's probably up there chuckling at me right now...at least I hope so.
