Looks pretty good to me so long as it's not warped or anything. Send it out for a good honing and you'll be good to go.

No need to send it out, I'll hone it myself.

I've been watching a few on ebay but always got beat out in the last seconds. Got lucky for once.

That appears to be the exact same make as the razor I am using, although yours looks to be in better shape. The Morley co was in business from 1913-1927, so you know it is good quality steel. Nice score.

Nothing upsets me more than those auto bids that some people have. I usually bid at the last 30 seconds and you think you've won, but no, at the last 3 seconds the price changes!!!! Instantly PO'd ha. Great razor by the way!

What a nice score at a ridiculously low price. Well done!

Last thirty seconds is nothing. Occasionally, I do browse the Bay for straight deals, but only when I have the time for auctions ending very soon. I'll sit there and wait literally five or ten seconds before the auction ends to place my final bid and still manage to get outbid 95% of the time

I'm not that proficient in my ability yet. I have the iphone app which saves me from logging in all the time so that has cut down on my "place a bid" time greatly. You are probably one of the people i am cursing because you out bid me the last few seconds of an auction lol. Another thing i have to wat h is getting caught up in the moment, you know when you bid just to beat the other person. Ebay gets me in trouble alot.

I do two types of bids. One is to just throw out a fairly low bid early, just encase I forget about it. The other is to wait until the last few seconds. I submit my highest bid with about 7 seconds remaining. With the time it takes to load the confirm page and submit that, usually I'm right around 2-3 seconds. If my bid is the highest then I win. If not then I don't. I just don't want to give someone time to reconsider and place a higher bid.

Got the razor today. Believe it or not it was shave ready too. One heck of a nice edge, shaved with it tonight.

Morley's are great razors. I was watching that one as well but ended up getting something else before hand so let that one go. I have 2 Morley's and love them.. just gave one to my brother to start out as well.

    Nice score.
