    Default WTB- an injector

Don't know squat about them, other than I want one.

Where do I start? Bear in mind, I'm really picky.

Ebay....I got real picky when I wanted mine, too. I wanted one so bad I picked one up on ebay, it had the usual tan colored handle, but I wanted a blue one...so now I have two of them. One I have at home (the blue one of course) and the other in my locker at work.

You can probably pick one up for under 10 bucks easily.

Default A Good Place to Start...

    YO OU,
Here is a good place to start before you spend any money. It will at least make you conversant with the ins and outs of the various models...
    Best regards,

    Ebay? Never heard of it.

That sounded like something my wife would say- "I know exactly what kind of car I want. A blue one."

Thanks, Ron. Although I must say, twelve minutes for a compendious response- you guys are slippin'!

Twelve minutes is roughly seven years in RAD time.

    Thanks, AACJ.

How has your luck been on ebay? I bought some very nice straights, but I want to start glomming up DE's and injectors now. Reading between the lines seems to be the most important thing.

I've only bought a few things on ebay, the two Injectors and a few Christmas presents for the kids and wife. I usually just set a price I'm willing to pay and let it ride. Sometimes I get it, sometimes not. I'd just watch out for some of the guys that buy and resell. They tend to drive the price up, but for the measly profit they are making, it hardly seems worth it. Plus they charge a lot for shipping and handling.

Oh, I heard to watch out for the Pakistani str8s there, but it sounds like you know your str8's.

I mainly sell junk I get at storage auctions and garage sales there.

I think the Grant video on the blog is driving the demand and prices up on ebay a bit too much. I tried a PAL adjustable injector, hated it, and traded it away....but that damn video makes me want to try again! I'm also picky as well, I'd want one with an ivory/white bakelite handle. Hell, I got enough damn razors! Must resist temptation and stick with my DEs :)
