    Default The smoothest blade ever!

I've been trying Personna medical blades recently. Very good in my Tech, but a funny thing happened when I put them in a EJ DE89L. As the shaves add up and the blade dulls, it doesn't feel rougher, but rather smoother, and it cuts less. It almost feels like the blade is receding into the EJ's somewhat bulky (compared to a Tech) head and gradually disappearing.

Anyway, this morning I lathered up, grabbed the DE89L and made one smoooooooooooth stroke on my cheek. So smooth, I did a double-take.
...No blade. Forgot that I tossed it after that last shave.

Now I understand why the DE89L has a good reputation.

It gets the soap/cream off your face, though, right? Isn't that the object here?

    Hahah.
This reminds me of the my 1st shave with an EJ DE89.

I had a blade in it and proceded to whack away.

I too thought I was witnessing a miracle until I saw that I had the base plate on upside down.

    Color me embarassed.

Where can you buy these blades? I did a search and only found large bulk packs.

I got the medical Personnas (100 pack) at Robbins Instruments. Like ackvil said, check out CaptainK's thread on BST.
