What's new

Guess that movie quote

Not connected, but Finders Fee makes me think of this movie and I have no idea why...please play on if you know it.

"Even though I'm running the show for you, I'm running the show. So we're going to put an end to the Scooter, Junior, Skippy, Sport, Tiger, Booster bulls--t. All right? My name is Jake."

That would be Stella from the "Italian Job"
If I'm correct, have a go at this one from one of my all time favorite movies...

(unconnected)
"This isn't a case of a world struggle between two divergent ideologies of different economic systems. Every day your country becomes more socialistic and mine becomes more capitalistic. Pretty soon we will meet in the middle and join hands." Second clue: "Take that you hostile sons of bit$#es!"

The connection was Donald Sutherland, but both him and her said it in the movie, so that works for me.

Thank you Illadelphia and pardon my missing the Donald Sutherland connection.

First quote: "This isn't a case of a world struggle between two divergent ideologies of different economic systems. Every day your country becomes more socialistic and mine becomes more capitalistic. Pretty soon we will meet in the middle and join hands."
Second quote: "Take that you hostile sons of bit$#es!"

I'm not sure if you gentlemen are stumped... time for a photo clue. This is a studio promo shot from the movie, not a movie cell:

Wow! I can't believe I stumped you fellows with that one! The quotes were from "The President's Analyst", one of my all time favorite movies. James Coburn plays a psychiatrist, Dr. Sidney Schaeffer, who takes a job as the personal analyst to the President of the United States. The President is very demanding of Schaeffer's time and the security restrictions begin to effect his personal life. Schaeffer becomes paranoid and runs away only to be pursued by foreign spies who want him captured alive to exploit his intimate knowledge of the President, while US Security Agencies want him dead. I highly recommend it - it's very entertaining and incredibly amusing.

I guess I'll have another go...

Here's a quote from a different movie (connected):
Character #1: “I stay dirty for a reason. If you've been in the field as long as I've been, you'd know why.”
Character #2: “Explain.”
Character #1: “Natural body oils, combined with dirt, can keep you waterproof.”

I'll have to check that one out!

This one I think I know. It's a Peckinpah one from the 70's starring Coburn. He's a German. Iron Cross or something like that (didn't want to cheat and use google to confirm)
