Default I keep breaking French Presses--- Help!

I just broke my second French Press. Both were $20 Bodiums. Both times I did something stupid and the glass broke.

I'm now using a Melitta, but it's just not the same. I looked for a plastic French Press, but I can't find one.

Does anyone have a suggestions for either a plastic model, or a glass model with thicker glass, or a different type of coffee maker?

    Thanks!

You don't buy new french presses after breaking the glass do you? You buy the replacement glass carafe, right?

Bodum has a stainless steel french press called the Columbia. Pretty nice looking too.

How are you breaking them? Stirring with a metal spoon? Dropping? I've had my french press for about 4 years now with no issue.

That does look solid...I was going to buy a larger Bodium to replace the small one cupper I have, but I think I'm going to get this one. Imo French presses make the best coffee!

+1 French Press coffee is fantastic.

I have a Nissan Stainless travel mug and it keeps my coffee piping hot for hours.
