    Default Simpsons Dream Collection!

I seen this picture on another site I was looking at and couldn't believe what an awesome collection of Simpsons this person has. Just thought others would like to look also!

Keep in mind there is a mirror next to the display case ... it makes the collection look larger than it actually is.

Even so ... I counted THIRTY-TWO brushes in that case ... and I don't think any of 'em are duplicates.

My shave-den doesn't have 32 of anything ... at least not yet.

So, someone just throw out a ball park figure here. What are we looking at, $2800 - $3000 worth of shaving brushes (assuming all were purchased new @ full retail)?

That's Dr.P's collection. He's also a member here at B&B. He actually has more brushes that aren't shown in that picture.
B&B member MSandoval858 also has a collection that's real close to that.

There are about 40-50 Simpsons "in stock" now, i lost count...my total stack counts more than 200 specimen...
But the speed of collecting has gone down in the past year. I only bought the Simpsons Douglas and i'm awaiting the TI forte 26 mm in blond horn.

My guess is that's an Astor. The one in the middle of the same shelf looks like a 58.

I barely have 32 blades on hand .

    Very impressive drP

If you're still in here maybe you can PM me what would be a good choice for another Simpson IYO because my sole T1 2B is not enough . Face lather soap and was thinking best badger, 18-20mm and 48-51 loft.

If that's the case, we should all stop. There's Achim and AsylumGuido with Gillettes, professorchaos with straights, bythbook with vintage soaps, SliceofLife with his hones, etc.
I'm happy just fondling my own small collection and living vicariously through others.

One has stupider ways of spending such sums. Buying a new car one doesn't need for example. Or how about 24" rims, custom motorcycles, casino's, credit card interest, etc.
