A New Idea for a Brush and/or Razor Stand(?)

Hello, all.

I was curious if anyone here has considered using a rubber stamp stand for a brush and razor holder. Take a look at this vintage cast iron one that sold on Ebay (the bidding is over, so you will need to scroll down to see the item).

Check this one out as well. It might be an excellent storage option for those of you with a large brush and razor collection.

I'll be posting my introductory newbie post soon.

My experience with rubber stamps makes me think that the gap would not be wide enough to accommodate the width of the handles of most brushes.

Yeah, I wondered about that too, but I believe that the stamp handles were chunkier during the period in which these stands were made. I might ask the seller about the dimensions of the openings. It should still work well for DEs at the very least.
