Are Godrej Deluxe & Godrej Rich Foam the same?

Godrej sells 2 creams in the same red tube, one called "Deluxe" and the other "Rich Foam." Are these the same creams marketed under different names, or entirely different products with different performance and scent?

I believe they are separate products. I remember seeing something about one being marketed to Northern India specifically. Their website shows that Rich Foam was released in 1968 and Deluxe Lather wasn't released until 2005.

I've got tubes of both and, to me at least, they are identical - same scent & performance. If I recall correctly, the Rich Foam was marketed to Southern India and the Deluxe Lather to the north, but I might have that reversed.

Supposedly they are the same. I've owned both, and I seem to remember liking my first tube (Rich Foam) a lot more than I do my current tube (Deluxe), but they smell the same and I chalk it up to my current tube being quite a bit older and perhaps being manufactured in a different plant. I could have also just been love-drunk with the first tube.

For all intents and purposes though, I consider them identical.

Now... I wonder who's stupid idea it was to market the same product under two different names, while claiming one was traditional and one was new. Are they hiring ex-Gillette executives in Calcutta these days?
