Default I think my SBAD is over.

    Here's my brush list:

    Simpsons Emperor 2 Two-Band
Rudy Vey Custom Blue Eagle 20mm Finest Two-Band 45 Loft
Penchetta Custom Butterscotch Pearl 22mm Finest Two-Band 50 Loft
MyCarver Custom Root Beer Barrell 20mm Finest Two Band 50 Loft

Beautiful line up. Enjoy. There's a reason for the Duke's reputation.

    Did someone say brushes?????

Seriously, though, that's a great lineup, and enough to dial back the SBAD for at least a little while. That Beehive is a personal favorite.

    +1

I started with and used a Conk/Vulfix Pure Badger that I bought for about 25 USD and used for a year. About a month or so ago I bought a Duke 1 in Best. The only other brush I would buy would be ANOTHER Duke 1 in Best so that I could rotate the two. What a great brush for face lathering!

What qualities/characteristics set the duke1 apart from your other brushes?

I have considered a Shavemac extreme flat top......pretty $$ though.
The Dukes lather release is probably the most different quality.
    I had a Semogue 1305 ...just wasn't for me.
I prefer smaller knots so if there's ever a Chubby it will be a 1.

I myself wouldn't mind a Chubby 1 two band... some day... some day.

I would probably snag an Eagle 3 in best as well but I doubt if anyone parts with one anytime soon...
