Default Is Proraso supposed to look like this?

Ok, I don't have any pictures, but I bought a small tub of Proraso (green kind) and when I opened it, there was this dried yellow chunk of soap which fell out when I tipped it. I thought, yea, Proraso is supposed to be quirky and I went to to shave with it. I'm not too good at making a lather, but I was able to make a very decent lather within seconds! I loaded more on, and wow what a creamy lather. The smell wasn't the nicest, but what the heck, this is Proraso! So I continued my shave and cleaned my face off. I shave my face and then this it started to feel cold. Unmistakably, there was peppermint in it! It was like Dr. Bronners for the face, and it felt pretty good. I cleaned off my brush, soaked it a little, then wiped off the excess soap on the puck. I knew i couldn't rinse it because it was a cream/soap.

Applied some witch hazel and concluded one of the best shaves I've ever had!!!!!

    I love Proraso!

I would say the dry bit, no, it shouldn't be like that. The scent should be old fashion a bit and soapy. The peppermint is menthol.

It should not be yellow. It may be really old stock?

I'm not sure, I just got it today. I'm sure it's yellow, not just me. I made some lather, which was white and it was a stark contrast to the yellow. I hope it doesn't effect the performance.

If it does, it's a brand new formulation...

I've had a tub for a few months and it hasn't seen any use for a long while. Dug it out the other day, and yes, a bit yellow and dry on the top.

    Still proraso, and usable though.
