Question about brushes in general...

Hey guys,

I'm still a noob to all this, so here goes: I've got a Vulfix 1000 brush, and it seems to loose some hair. I've only had it about a week. Is this normal?

Also, does this sucker get softer with use, or am I just a whimp who needs to get a silvertip to make up for it?

Brushes will lose hair in the begining, but it should soon taper off to only an occasional hair or two. Yes, the brush will get softer, or you'll get a tougher face... either way, you'll grow to like it.

Many brushes do lose some hairs at first, but it will stop eventually (unless it is a shedder). The brush has pure hair, so that will tend to be much more prickly than silvertip. It may break in, you may get used to it, or you may not. Give it awhile and see how it works for you. You can always keep an eye out on the BST for a nice used brush with Best or Super hair, or pick up an excellent new brush with softer tips. Let us know when the time comes, and we can give you some suggestions.
