Thread: Razorock help

  1. Default Razorock help

I searched but didn't see anything directly related to this, my razorock must have gotten water into the handle and now slips out if I tip it upside down. I can live with this but I still have the problem of water collecting inside of the handle of it and it seems to be eating away the alum from the bottom up. Has anyone else experienced this and if so is there a way to remedy the problem?

Haven't had the problem, but, maybe shim it in place with a little tape wrapped around the rock?

Try sending the vendor a PM here on the boards. Their member name is RazoRock oddly enough

    Hi BigTex,

I recommend to only wet the top of the rock when you apply it. I also recommend that you dry the RazoRock with a towel after you use it; Natural Alum will dissolve if left wet. Eventually, as you use the RazoRock, the Alum will shrink and it will come out of the handle, you can still use it and use the case as a storage counter until it gets completely used up.

    Thanks everyone for the tips.

When I use it I try to wet just the top but I guess a little leaked down into the handle and now I'm at the stage where it comes out. Maybe I'll try applying it to my wet face without wetting the alum. And I do dry it with a towel but like I said, the water had gotten down into the handle so a towel wouldn't do any help there. Now that it comes out I'll take it out and wipe the whole thing down to limit the bottom being eaten away. Again thanks for the tips everyone.
