I think the razor I have is the black/red version of the Gillette New Standard (52 grams). Oddly enough, it appears to be two-tone brass/gold.
Did they make a razor like that or is is plating loss?
I ask only because (1) The plating "loss" would be extremely uniform; and (2) I've seen these two-tones sold as intentionally two-toned on the Bay (which I put very little stock in).
I figured it was the 1934 Red Black based on Mr-Razor.com and the weight which matched that site's listed weight.
It is the third from the left in this first pic. Close-ups in the other two pics. The others n the first pics are just the razors I've acquired lately and have been trying out. :)
