MAAS metal polish. Does it take the gold off a razor?

Has anyone used MAAS metal polish on gold logos on a straight razor? Does it take it off? I have a Three Kings razor with some gold writing on it and i was wondering if the polish would take it off

I have read that MAAS will take the gold of off a gold Gillette because it is only sealed in with that red enamel. I have not tired it on anything gold, but it might not take it off if they used a different sealant. Though thats just speculation and poor speculation at that.

Yea id hate to take it off. I think i'll leave well enough alone and not touch it. It's not etched in it's just a gold Three Kings logo on the blade. Thanks for the reply

Some razors sooner than others but MAAS will remove gold wash. Bolsters will also vary but they usually last longer.
