We were wandering around the Westfield Mall in San Francisco. I saw an AoS and decided to browse. I was met by a young woman who backed off once she knew I was a DE shaver and it wasn't my first visit to an AoS. We chatted for a bit and she sounded like she knew what she was talking about. Straights and DEs for a luxury shave vs the Proglide for a quick shave. Customers having a hard time finding DE blades other than Merkur. She asked what I liked and didn't like about their products and guided me accordingly. She also said P&G is opening more AoS stores. I bought a travel size of their unscented shaving cream for an upcoming business trip. All in all, a nice visit.

P&G getting into the retail business?
Art of Shaving is owned by Proctor and Gamble. Who also owns the Gillette, and Old Spice brand names.

I think BBBum6 was referring to most of P&G products being sold by other retail outlets. At least one other P&G product does have brick and mortar stores: Sassoon.
