Default Does anyone shave at night?

I find that I can take my time, set up all my tools, get some good tunes going and go slow (still very new to all this). Im pretty happy with the results and smoothness through the next day. Since Im always in a rush in the morning, son to the school bus, wife fed and monied for the day and then off to work- I couldnt get as good a shave as the night before. Anyone one else doing any nocturnal shaving?

Yes I shave about 7pm. It is just more relaxing and enjoyable.
Also my wife is home from work by then and she likes to shave my head after I am done with my face.

I prefer it too. In the summer I would always have to shower when I got home from work so it was perfect, but now I go to school in the day so I take a shower and shave right when I get home and it invigorates me for some studying. Then in the morning, I just take a quick rinse shower and I am on my way. I have not tried the Kyle's Prep yet, but I might give that a go and see how it is.
The evening shave is leisurely and a nice relaxing break in the day.

Night shaver here. It's an extremely relaxing way to end the day, and hopping in the sack with a clean shave and some smell-nice-device deployed doesn't displease the better half.

Another nocturnal shaver here. I find it nigh on impossible to wake up in the morning (at all), so the chances of me getting up earlier to shave are almost nil. I have to leave by 0640 anyway, so my mornings are a bit rushed.

I work second shift, so I typically shave in the early afternoon before the kids get home from school. Occasionally on the weekends I'll shave late at night if I didn't shave during the day and the stubble is annoying me.

I use to get the kids to bed, and then I can get a little alone time with my shaving.

IN the winter I shave most often at night. The rest of the time I shave in the morning. On certain occasions I shave both at night and in the morning; when in doubt, shave.

Through the week its definately the evenings for me. But on the weekend I still get up pretty early, 4 or 5 am. And since I'm not to appear at the side of the bed with a fresh cappucino in hand until about 8am, I get some good me time. I'll often skip a shave so I have a good growth to work my way through on Saturday morning. I dont read the papers...try to avoid the news as much as possible actually, so this is my leasurely start to the weekend.

I do occasionally shave at night before bed. My beard doesn't grow fast enough for shaving at night to cause any problems, and it's nice to shave at night when you've nothing to do and you can relax and concentrate and do it properly. I have my showers at night, so sometimes, I shave in the shower.

The only downside to shaving at night is that sometimes you can be tired and this can prove tricky if you're shaving with a straight-razor...

Night shaving after a shower works for me...I just have more time and it's a nice way to wind down before bed.

Late afternoons for me. Since I am retired and have a beard that grows fast and wiry this allows me to be clean shaven for dinner and still OK in the a.m.

Much more relaxing and less rushed for me at night.
