Bona fide Japanese-style disposable straights?

Nosing around Japan's interweb checking out AC prices again. Found these on the Schick website instead.



Disposable 3-pack for 315 yen. I can't read the Japanese (and the idea of plastic handles strikes me as scarily lightweight) but am very curious about the experience if anyone's tried one.

Seems to be some sort of eyebrow trimmer? Looks like it's been discussed here before...

These are not very good for face shaving. They do work well for trimming the back of your neck (or eyebrows if you roll like that...), they seem to be too rough for face shaving.

You wanna call trimming your eyebrows "peeling potatoes", who am I to argue?

FWIW, my shavette came with a comb attachment that makes it quite handy for that job. When the hair on top of my head is trimmed with #1 clippers, I don't see why I would want 2" long eyebrow hair?

is it just me, or is the blade in the picture slightly cerated?
