My straight shave.

Well a month into it and just this week I've started to get shaves that I call good. Bbs on the cheeks even got it on the neck between the adams apple and the chin. My adams apple sticks out like a sore thumb and is not easy to shave around. I can't help but wonder if I should keep going I like it but I think how fast and great my shaves are with my de. I'll keep shaving with this razor and I'll try not to cheat and use the de. I might purchase a dovo best quality half hollow and a paladin strop soon and see how that works. I'm not good at typing or I would keep a journal here. So I'll post from time to time my progress. Reading the other journals have been helpful. So thanks and my hats off to the guys who have shaved with these for years,it's not easy to get started.But I like it. This I think is just funny, lol!

You're right, it isn't easy but it's a skill that can be mastered.

Keep at it, you will get there.

Most importantly though; enjoy it!

It really is just practise. You'll figure out what works and what doesn't. It is a fun experience thought.
